Item 8

The Birmingham City Council approved a Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute an agreement with New Haven Apartments LP that would refinance their mortgage. The Mortgage Note will be extended to May 1, 2034 in the amount of $316,800.00, plus interest.

The New Haven Apartments are a 56-unit apartment complex for senior citizens in Pratt City that were developed using Federal HOME funds. Extending this mortgage would keep the units at affordable prices.
