What you need to know about the CARES Act
The Birmingham City Council partnered with Dana Moore, the Executive Director of the Southern Development Council, for a discussion about Small Business Administration programs within the recently passed Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security, or CARES, Act. The CARES Act is intended to aid small business owners, certain non-profits, and other employers with new resources.

The guide provides information about major programs and initiatives that will soon be available from the SBA, as well as some additional tax provisions that are outside the scope of SBA.
